Meesho Profit & Loss Calculator — FAQ
7 questionsShipSort reads the financial truth straight from your Meesho settlement (payment) workbook — the "Order Payments" sheet carries the Final Settlement Amount Meesho actually paid you per sub-order, already net of commission, shipping, return charges and GST (all taxes inclusive). You either upload that .xlsx from your Supplier Panel or let ShipSort auto-sync it from your connected Meesho.com account. Because Meesho never exports your own cost price, you fill a small SKU → Cost Price sheet once (we pre-fill it with every SKU we detected and remember it per account). ShipSort then computes profit per SKU as net settlement − cost of goods sold − packaging, subtracts account-level ad spend once for a true net profit, and shows margin %, profit-per-unit and return rate for every SKU.
No manual data entry of sales figures. The sales and settlement numbers come directly from your Meesho settlement/payment .xlsx — either uploaded from the Supplier Panel or auto-synced from your connected Meesho.com account. The only thing you enter is your own cost price per SKU (which Meesho does not know), and even that is a pre-filled sheet you fill once and ShipSort reuses every cycle.
Yes. Connect your Meesho account once and ShipSort can sync your settlement (payment) workbooks for the months you pick — up to a year at a time — straight from your Supplier Panel, so you skip the manual export step entirely. It uses your own account and respects Meesho’s rate limits; the downloaded data flows straight into the profit calculation.
Yes. Commission, forward + reverse shipping and return charges are already baked into the Final Settlement Amount Meesho reports, so they are captured automatically. On top of that, returned/RTO units don’t incur cost of goods (the stock comes back), packaging is only counted on dispatched sub-orders, and account-level ad spend is subtracted once — so the net profit you see is genuinely what landed in your bank.
If you also drop in your Meesho returns and claims CSVs, ShipSort adds a reconciliation layer: it shows units still in reverse transit (inventory at risk that hasn’t physically come back yet) and open claim tickets — money Meesho owes you for wrong, damaged or missing returns that hasn’t hit settlement yet — with an estimated recovery value and a "chase these SKUs" list.
The insights panel surfaces exactly that: loss-making SKUs (negative profit), "COGS-killers" where the settlement looked fine but your cost price pushed the SKU into the red, and high-return SKUs eating your margin — alongside your top profitable SKUs. Everything is sortable and exportable to Excel so you can act on it.
Yes. Upload multiple settlement files (or sync several months) and ShipSort aggregates them into one per-SKU report across the whole period. The full report — per-SKU profit, margin, returns, pending returns, open claims and profit-per-unit — exports to a formatted Excel workbook with one click.
